What's Cooking at Sails?Sails' Executive Chef Toddi Bragason cooked up a storm at Redcliffe's annual 'What's Cooking in the Gardens?' on Sunday August 2.
Toddi prepared his signature seafood chowder, followed by a five spice pannacotta in the shade of the Botanic Gardens. Says our Executive Chef: "Both these meals are simple to prepare in the outdoor environment, they're delicious, and they showcase the style of food that Sails Restaurant and Function Centre creates. I hope it will be an opportunity to introduce the Redcliffe community to Sails' quality and freshness." Toddi and Sails Restaurant and Function Centre also featured on The Great South East television program on Sunday July 26. Presenter Laurel Edwards covered the details of 'What's Cooking in the Gardens?', and enjoyed a meal at Sails Restaurant. 'What's Cooking in the Gardens?' is a community event full of entertainment, food, art and gardening at the Redcliffe Botanical Gardens. Every year there are special guest chefs, local butchers, gardening speakers, plant displays, top quality market stalls and wine tasting. And for the kids there's also shetland pony rides, Rainbow Eco Activities and a huge range of food and refreshments. The event ran from 10am to 3pm at Redcliffe Botanic Gardens, George Street, Redcliffe. For recipe details, click here.
